AACE International Conference

As the green energy transition accelerates, renewable energy projects are expected to comprise a growing percentage of the construction pipeline. Understanding the unique scheduling challenges posed by these projects will help ensure that “you don’t get burnt, blown away, or washed out” on a renewable energy project. This was the theme of the AACE International Conference in Atlanta, where Senior Partner Christopher Brasco (DC) and Partner Matthew Baker (DC) presented on “Mastering Risk Factors for Renewable Energy Projects.” Read more

Robert Cimmino Holds Oral Advocacy Training for The Moot Court Bench in Sri Lanka

Kicking off our annual tradition of mentoring of law students in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, Robert Cimmino (DC) held an oral advocacy training session for The Moot Court Bench in Sri Lanka in which he shared an overview of the oral advocacy skills students will master through the Willem C. Vis Arbitration Moot. Read more

Watt Tieder Participated in International Arbitration Training

Attorney Robert Cimmino (DC) served as an expert at the International Arbitration Training, hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) and the AAI-Arbitration Alumni Association of Iraq (AAI). He also visited Dubai to conduct training on international arbitration and international commercial law for students across the Middle East and North Africa participating in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. This marks his 6th year collaborating with the CLDP to train students, professors, and practitioners in the MENA region. Read more
