Evan Kappatos is an associate at Watt Tieder’s McLean office. He concentrates his practice in construction litigation, government contracts and suretyship law. He joined Watt Tieder in 2022 after spending a year working as an associate at a general litigation firm in Montvale, New Jersey.

Evan has worked together with clients to manage disputes arising from various construction projects including highways, railways, utility projects and data centers. Evan has further represented clients in diverse matters such as design defects, federal False Claims Act (“FCA”) litigation, pass-through claims, delay claims and indemnity claims.

Evan received his J.D. from William & Mary Law School in 2021. In addition to being a member of the William & Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review, Evan competed on the school’s National Trial and Alternative Dispute Resolution teams.
