Tom Dossey is an associate at Watt Tieder in McLean, Virginia. He concentrates his practice on construction litigation, government contracts and suretyship law. Tom has represents clients in a variety of disputes arising from government contracting, including complex False Claims Act litigation. Through such matters, Tom has gained valuable experience in sophisticated discovery disputes, case development and strategy, and dispositive motion briefing.

 

Tom graduated cum laude from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. In law school, Tom was the Managing Editor of the Journal of Law, Economics & Policy, President of the Student Bar Association, and Vice Justice of the Moot Court Board. Tom was the champion of his law school’s First-Year and Upper-Class moot court competitions, the 2022 Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition, and the 2023 Boston Regional of the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Tom also interned for the Honorable Elizabeth L. Gunn at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia, and Giesecke & Devrient America in McLean, Virginia. Prior to law school, Tom attended the University of Central Florida, where he majored in communications.
