Paul Abdou is an Associate in Watt Tieder’s Irvine office, where he focuses his practice on construction law, commercial litigation, suretyship, and real estate disputes, representing clients in a range of complex litigation matters.

Prior to joining Watt Tieder, Paul practiced at an Am Law 100 national litigation defense firm, where he represented corporate clients in complex litigation matters, including general liability and business disputes. His experience includes dispositive motion practice, arbitration and mediation, discovery, and settlement negotiations. He has extensive experience in deposition practice, including examining and defending fact and expert witnesses, and has participated in numerous arbitrations and mediations.

Paul received his Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he served as a Managing Editor for the Corporate and Business Law Journal. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Riverside.

Outside of his legal practice, Paul serves on the Board of Directors for Scouting America (Boy Scouts of America) Greater California Council. He also enjoys traveling, figure skating, and wakeboarding.
