Kyle Case is an associate at Watt Tieder’s Irvine office. Kyle concentrates his practice in the areas of construction litigation and surety law. He has effectively represented contractors, subcontractors, and sureties on a diverse range of construction projects, including luxury condominium developments, water treatment centers, public school renovations, state highway refurbishments, and hotel renovations. His practice includes prosecuting and defending disputes relating to Miller Act, breach of contract, delay, mechanics’ liens, and payment and performance bond claims, as well as indemnity actions. Through these matters, Kyle has gained valuable experience in all phases of litigation, from factual investigation and development of comprehensive case strategy through trial, and has further argued successfully before the Appellate Division of the State of California. In conjunction with his extensive litigation work, Kyle regularly counsels contractors in the review and drafting of construction contracts.

Kyle graduated summa cum laude from Western State College of Law, where he served as the Business Editor for the Western State Law Review. During law school, Kyle was also the Director of National Competitions for Western State’s Honors Moot Court Team, competing in moot court competitions across the country. Prior to law school, Kyle received his B.A. from the University of Oregon, where he majored in Political Science.
