Kristopher Hiser is an associate with Watt Tieder in McLean, Virginia. He focuses his practice on construction law, government contracts and suretyship.

Kristopher has represented clients in a wide range of disputes arising from construction projects, including delays and disruptions, defective designs, differing site conditions, change orders, and breach of contract claims.  He has also litigated allegations brought under the False Claims Act, as well as bond claims and bid protests. Through such matters, Kristopher has gained valuable experience in complex discovery disputes, case development and strategy, pre-trial motions practice, coordination with expert witnesses, and alternative dispute resolution. Kristopher has litigated cases before federal and state courts as well as administrative boards, including the Civilian and Armed Services Boards of Contract Appeals.  He joined Watt Tieder as an associate after having clerked for the firm as a summer associate.

Kristopher graduated magna cum laude from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, where he served as a research editor on the George Mason Law Review and as a member of the Trial Advocacy Board.  Prior to law school, Kristopher worked in the construction industry, where his primary responsibilities included project oversight and workforce management.
