Jordan Hutcheson is an associate at Watt Tieder’s McLean office. She concentrates her practice on construction, government contracts, and commercial litigation. Jordan’s practice also involves prosecuting and defending bid protests at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, Government Accountability Office, and before a variety of local and state government adjudicative bodies. She has assisted national and international owners, joint ventures, contractors, and subcontractors in successfully resolving numerous disputes arising from significant commercial projects, including transportation infrastructure and onshore/offshore energy projects, manufacturing, research, and education facilities, and data centers. Jordan regularly represents clients in federal and state courts as well as before administrative boards and in arbitrations.

Jordan graduated cum laude from Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. While in law school, Jordan served as an editor for the George Mason Law Review and worked as a law clerk to the general counsel for multiple construction companies in the Mid-Atlantic region. She joined the firm after completing a clerkship for the Circuit Court judges in the 27th Judicial Circuit in Southwest Virginia. Jordan’s clerkship exposed her to an array of complex civil litigation matters and provided her with extensive knowledge of the litigation process in Virginia state courts, which she routinely draws upon to provide cost-effective representation for her clients.
