Jane Kearl has over 25 years’ experience representing developers, owners, contractors, and architects in high-value litigation and transactional matters.

Ms. Kearl negotiates construction, consultant and trade agreements nationwide for all manner of developments, including mixed-use, commercial, and residential projects.

In addition to transactional work, Ms. Kearl is a seasoned litigator, representing clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitrations and mediations. A formidable advocate, Ms. Kearl has secured multiple favorable verdicts, judgments and awards for her clients.

In addition to her private practice, Ms. Kearl is an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association on both the Construction and Consumer Dispute Panels and served as a hearing officer for public entities for over a decade.

Ms. Kearl is Chambers USA ranked in Construction. She is also rated AV-Preeminent, the highest level ranking for professional excellence, by Martindale-Hubbell.

Ms. Kearl is admitted to the practice of law in California, Colorado and Washington, as well as before select United States District Courts.

Ms. Kearl’s legal leadership roles include serving as a member of the Mandatory Fee Arbitration Committee for the Orange County Bar Association since 2006, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Women Lawyers Association from 2008-2012. Further, she volunteered for over a decade with the Orange County Constitutional Rights Foundation, Mock Trial Program and was honored to be named Volunteer of the Year.

Active in the community, Ms. Kearl currently serves on the Board of Directors for a local teen mental health agency, and formerly was a member of the Board of Directors for Mercy House Living Centers. Additionally, she is past President of the Board of Directors for both the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center and Women Helping Women, local non-profits dedicated to ending domestic violence.

Ms. Kearl has an unwavering commitment to legal excellence, and shares her legal experience with the community through educational presentations at local law schools, bar conferences, and continuing legal education events.
