Emily Brown

Emily Brown is an associate at Watt Tieder’s McLean office, and concentrates her practice on construction and government contracts litigation. Emily joined the firm with an array of general commercial litigation experience and success advocating for client rights through dispute resolution and litigation.

Prior to joining Watt Tieder, Emily clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Bruce D. White of Fairfax County Circuit Court, Virginia’s busiest trial court. Emily’s clerkship provided her with a practical understanding of litigation and extensive knowledge of the litigation process in Virginia state courts.

Emily graduated cum laude from George Mason University School of Law in 2016. While in law school, Emily was a finalist in the 2015 William B. Bryant and Luke Charles Moot Court Competition, as well as a travel team member in the 2016 Wilhem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria. Prior to attending law school, Emily worked as a government contractor at the General Services Administration (GSA) in Washington, DC.
