Mariela M. Malfeld

Mariela Malfeld focuses her practice on construction litigation and suretyship, representing contractors, owners, subcontractors, design professionals, and sureties both in public and private construction projects.

Her construction litigation practice includes representing the client from the inception of litigation through trial or arbitration. She also counsels clients on how to minimize litigation exposure.

Prior to joining Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald, Mariela’s practice focused on insurance litigation, including defense of catastrophic injury and death cases, coverage, bad faith, excess, umbrella and reinsurance claims, construction defect litigation, and premises liability.

Mariela is admitted to practice in Florida and the District of Columbia.
